Open it

Press ⌃ ⌥ K from any app.

How it works

1. Open the panel

   Press ⌃ ⌥ K anywhere. An Ask AI panel floats up without stealing focus from your current window.

2. Ask

   Type anything — a question, a quick task, a lookup — and press ↩.

3. Copy the answer

   A short answer appears in place, ready to copy with one click.

Keep questions short and specific — Ask AI is built for the quick “what’s the flag for…” moments, not long research sessions.

Privacy

Only the text you type is sent, and only when you press ↩.
