# Suggest a Tool

> Pitch a tool you wish existed — with pictures to make the case.

**Suggest a Tool** is how the Dax menu grows — pitch a tool you wish Dax had,
with pictures to make the case.

## Open it

Press <kbd>⌃</kbd> <kbd>⌥</kbd> <kbd>F</kbd> from any app.

## How it works

    Press <kbd>⌃</kbd> <kbd>⌥</kbd> <kbd>F</kbd>.

  <Step title="Describe the tool">
    Describe the tool you wish existed. Attach **screen snips** (<kbd>⌘</kbd>
    <kbd>S</kbd>) to show exactly what you mean.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Send it">
    Press <kbd>⌘</kbd> <kbd>↩</kbd> to send it straight to the suggestion
    inbox.
  </Step>

<Tip>
  The most useful suggestions describe the moment: "when I'm doing X, I wish
  I could Y without leaving the app."
</Tip>

## Privacy

Only your words, the snips you choose, and the app / macOS version are sent —
nothing else.
